Assist. Prof. Dr. Margaret Jip Kuo received her Bachelor of Science from Taipei Medical University; Master’s in Sports Science (Sports Nutrition) from National Sport University; and her Doctorate in Food Sciences and Nutrition from Fu Jen Catholic University. From 2002, Dr. Kuo works as a sports nutritionist for the baseball, judo, marathon and bodybuilding team. Her research interests include Chinese herbs Eleutherococcus senticosus, ergogenic aids and diet planning for athletes.

Margaret has authored 12 books and over 95 articles: Sports Physiology, Exercise Nutrition, 365 tips to keep beauty and healthy, Sports Nutrition, Weight management and Teaching nutrition self-management etc. Previously she served as Assistant Professor, Department of Tourism and Leisure Management, China University of Technology, Taiwan and the Nutrition Advisor of the International Council of Women Council (ICW). More specifically, she ran an ultra-marathon (45K) for a charity fund raising in 2014. Because of her board vision, currently she is the Aging Advisor of the International Council of Women Council (ICW).

In the field of bodybuilding and fitness, Dr. Kuo is the executive member of the Asian Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (ABBF) over twelve years and she is an International judge of World Bodybuilding & Physique Sports Federation. Dr. Kuo has offered over 10 keynote and invited presentations in Asia Pacific, North America, South America, Africa and Europe Region.
