Prof. Dr. Jianhui Dai is currently the Professor in the School of Physical Education at Soochow University in P.R. of China.She received her bachelor degree from Anhui Normal University ,Master Degree in Sport Studies from Zhejiang University and her PhD Degree in Sports Humanities and Social Science from Shanghai University of Sport. In 2007, She has been a Visiting Scholar of Socio-cultural Studies and Sport Management in the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport Studies at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in the United States.

Her academic interests are related to physical activity policy，recreation and sport management,sociocultural issues of sport .Her research has been supported by the National Social Science Foundation, China Ministry of Education, China Sport General Administration, Jiangsu Province Sports Bureau and suzhou Municipal Sports Bureau.

She has published over 60 journal articles, book chapters authored and edited books in the areas of Sports Management and Sports Sociology . She offered over 30 invited presentations at national and international scientific conferences.She is also serving as one of Executive Board members of Asian Council of Exercise and Sport Science (ACESS), one of Executive Board members of BRICS Council of Exercise & Sports Science (BRICSCESS), Member of the Scientific Advisory Board of The Foundation of Global Community Health (GCH), Member of China Sport Science Society.
